Delete your SparkKing account

You can ask us to permanently delete your SparkKing account and everything attached to it. You do not need the app installed to make the request, and you do not need to give a reason.

Delete it inside the app

If you still have SparkKing installed, this is the fastest route: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out as soon as it finishes.

Or ask us by email

Send an email to privacy@sparkking.org from the email address you used to sign in to SparkKing, with “Delete my SparkKing account” as the subject.

Sending it from your sign-in address is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you can no longer access that address, write from any address and tell us which account you mean — we will ask you for something else that proves it is yours before deleting anything.

What happens next

• We confirm the request is genuine and reply to acknowledge it.
• Your account and personal data are erased within 30 days.
• We email you once it is done.

What gets deleted

Everything we hold that identifies you or records your use of the app:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile — name, email address, chosen languages and level
• All learning progress: lessons, practice scores, pronunciation attempts, review history and streaks
• Conversations and messages exchanged with the in-app AI tutor
• Achievements, certificates and leaderboard entries
• Friends, friend requests and challenges
• Your notification token, so we can no longer send you anything
• Any copy held on your device

This cannot be undone. Deleted progress cannot be restored, and signing up again later starts from zero.

What we keep, and why

Two things survive deletion, and neither can be used to contact you or identify you inside the app:

• Records of purchases. Indian tax and company law requires us to keep transaction records for a fixed period. We keep the record of the payment, not your learning data.
• Aggregated statistics. Counts that no longer contain anything personal — for example the number of lessons completed in a month — stay in our totals. Nothing in them can be traced back to you.

If you have a paid subscription

SparkKing subscriptions are billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription and does not stop it renewing. Cancel it first, in the store where you bought it:

• Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SparkKing → Cancel
• iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SparkKing → Cancel Subscription

Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy, not by us.
